Job summary

Ethos Life is seeking a Director, Global People Operations & AI to design and lead scalable People services worldwide. You will define operating models, build governance for AI and automation, and partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver a world-class employee experience.

You will drive a multi-regional strategy, scale processes, and advance the automation roadmap while ensuring compliance and data privacy across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in People/HR Operations, shared services, or people/business operations with leadership experience.
• Proven experience building or running a People/HR shared services function and tiered service model.
• Track record deploying automation and AI/agentic solutions in operations.
• Strong operating discipline: SLAs, metrics, cost-to-serve, capacity planning.
• Experience operating globally across countries with data privacy awareness.
• Excellent leadership and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for Global People Operations across regions.
• Lead Global People Services team, setting standards and coverage across geographies.
• Set direction for automation and enablement with AI agents handling repeatable work.
• Design a tiered service model: self-service, shared services, experts with clear routing.
• Build governance for AI and automation: guardrails, privacy, security, auditability.
• Define and own metrics: SLAs, deflection, cycle time, cost-to-serve, employee experience.
