Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field required.
• 10+ years in supply chain category management of PCB assembly/electronics manufacturing or sourcing engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and relocate onsite to Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts when needed at the right cost.
• Act as the sourcing expert for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies manufacturing.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies.
• Own the business relationship with external Contract Manufacturing and ensure continuity of supply, risk management, and cost negotiations.
• Partner with Engineering and Contract Manufacturers to influence design specs and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions and deep dive into supply chain elements for data-driven decisions.
• Support prototype requirements and lead sourcing activities across build milestones.
• Influence CM manufacturing processes, CapEx, and technology decisions.
• Negotiate key supplier agreements for pricing, quality, delivery, and terms.
• Collaborate internally to negotiate tradeoffs and advance new supplier or product offerings.
• Provide technical direction within commodities and guide product strategy throughout lifecycle.
• Manage operations for new and adapted technologies for Anduril.
• Develop and execute commercial agreements reflecting project expectations.
