Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Payroll Supervisor to lead in-house, full-cycle payroll for domestic and international staff using JD Edwards. Based in Portland, OR, the role partners with the Payroll Manager and specialists to ensure accurate, compliant processing across multi-state and overseas payrolls.

The position requires 5+ years of experience in payroll, strong knowledge of JD Edwards/Oracle systems, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in non-union full-cycle payroll
• In-house payroll processing experience preferred
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and accuracy for domestic and international employees
• Coordinate with third-party tax sources to ensure US and overseas compliance
• Maintain confidential payroll records and respond to employee inquiries
• Assist month-end close and statutory payroll reporting
• Oversee new hire setup and termination processes
• Prepare reports for audits and year-end tax returns
