Russell Investments in Seattle, WA is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead the US and Canada payroll operations within a global payroll team. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, respond to payroll inquiries, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Global HR, Finance, and Legal to deliver accurate, timely payroll services.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll, you will drive process improvements, audit payroll, and support system upgrades like ADP and Workday

Qualifications

• 5–7 years global payroll experience in US and Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, finance, or related field.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple states.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Streamline, and Workday.

Responsibilities

• Process full-function semi-monthly payroll from start to finish, including terminations, leaves, and benefits.
• Process equity transactions and long-term incentive payments.
• Conduct regular payroll audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support system upgrades and data integrity initiatives.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for audits.
• Provide payroll support for international assignments as needed.
