Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Manager, Payroll to lead all payroll-related activities across mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will partner with M&A COE, regional payroll teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless transitions and compliant payroll delivery globally.

Responsibilities include payroll operations, integrations, testing, and controls, with a focus on scalability and continuous improvement across the integration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of multi-country payroll operations, compliance, and controls.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll platforms (Workday, ADP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience leading payroll integrations during acquisitions or divestitures.
• Experience working in a shared services or global business services organization.
• Knowledge of payroll tax, mobility, equity, and international payroll practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll execution of workstream activities.
• Oversee payroll implementation, testing, and stabilization activities for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Partner with Workday Product & Engineering, Payroll Operations, M&A COE and external providers for successful technical implementation.
• Ensure payroll integrations comply with local, state, federal, and international regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness during integration.
• Identify opportunities to streamline integration activities and improve scalability.
