Job summary

MSCI is seeking a Payroll Associate to join the Americas Payroll Team within the Finance Department. You will manage semi-monthly payrolls across the US, Mexico, Canada and Brazil, coordinate with external providers, and ensure data accuracy and compliance throughout the payroll cycle.

You will process payroll inputs, bonuses and tax-related entries, maintain timely reporting, and support ad hoc payroll projects, while collaborating across departments and providing excellent service to employees.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years’ professional experience, preferably in payroll or payroll accounting.
• Experience of working within an international and multi-cultural environment.
• Strong technical ability in MS Excel and other desktop applications.
• Detail-focused to ensure accuracy and adherence to control steps.

Responsibilities

• Administrate assigned Americas payrolls and liaise with external payroll providers in Mexico and Brazil; in-house processing for Canada and US.
• Process payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay changes, taxes, locations, overtime, garnishments and deductions.
• Process bonuses, relocation, commissions, 13th month payments, savings funds, and employee benefits.
• Audit, analyze and reconcile payroll; ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and company policy.
• Handle reporting data for Legal entity controlling team timely.
• Process T-4 and W-2 forms.
