Databricks Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Payroll in San Francisco to lead payroll operations across the United States and Canada. You will oversee a team, ensure compliance with payroll tax obligations, and manage the full payroll cycle.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in payroll leadership and deep knowledge of US and Canadian tax compliance. You will drive improvements in payroll processes and lead a culture of accuracy and accountability within the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on US and Canada payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team.
• Deep working knowledge of US multi-state payroll tax.
• Solid understanding of Canadian payroll compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full payroll cycle for all US and Canadian employees.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax obligations.
• Manage payroll processing and tax withholding for RSU vesting events.
