Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. is seeking a Director of Global Payroll & HR Operations in a hybrid role based near our Baltimore HQ. Lead end-to-end payroll for 15,000 teammates worldwide and drive modernization across platforms and processes.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal and Technology to build a scalable, compliant payroll ecosystem while ensuring accurate, timely payroll delivery and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR, or related field.
• 12+ years of payroll experience, including global payroll and tax exposure.
• 5+ years of people leadership in a multinational organization.
• Experience in the retail industry or a similarly complex organization.
• Experience managing relationships with payroll platforms, particularly ADP.
• Experience in accounting and corporate finance matters.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience leading payroll transformations and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global payroll strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global payroll team with clear goals.
• Oversee accurate, compliant payroll across 25+ countries.
• Modernize payroll data flow, automation, and AI-enabled processes.
• Partner with Accounting on month-/quarter-/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Manage global payroll vendors, contracts, and SLAs.
• Establish global KPIs and dashboards for performance.
• Ensure SOX controls and risk management across regions.
