Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Payroll to provide strategic oversight of payroll across six countries and EOR locations. You will lead a team,partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and Tech, and drive continuous improvement and compliance in payroll processes.

The role requires 10+ years in payroll with global experience and at least 2 years in management, along with a strong focus on internal controls and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Knowledge of payroll tax and employment regulations.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting and internal controls.
• Experience mentoring a team.
• Ability to research, identify, and resolve complex payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals across global operations.
• Develop payroll strategy aligned with organizational objectives and governance standards.
• Ensure payroll across six countries and EOR locations complies with local requirements.
• Lead initiatives to improve payroll service delivery and employee experience.
• Manage payroll audits, validations, and approvals.
• Oversee vendor governance, service levels, and end-to-end payroll controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Tax and external advisors on complex issues.
