Job summary

Credo in San Jose is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end bi-weekly US payroll and Canada payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across jurisdictions.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, support off-cycle payrolls, reconcile data, and contribute to automation and process improvements in a structured environment. The role offers a base salary and discretionary bonus with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive payroll processing experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Maintain knowledge of US payroll regulations (multi-state, FLSA).
• Complete payroll reconciliation and SOX-aligned documentation.
• Familiarity with equity compensation payroll processing (RSUs/ESPP).
• Experience handling centralized payroll inquiries with professional communication.
• Support special payroll projects and endure a documentation-driven environment.
• Comfortable learning and applying new automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end processing of bi-weekly US payroll and bi-weekly Canada payroll.
• Prepare and coordinate US & Canada off-cycle payrolls as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of US and Canada payroll regulations, tax withholding rules, and statutory requirements.
• Manage data collection and reconciliation for payroll, including support documentation.
• Provide standard and ad-hoc payroll reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with updating payroll procedures as processes evolve.
• Sustain orderly payroll records and file organization.
• Partner to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and process alignment.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clear, timely communication.
• Learn and support new automation process flows and technologies.
• Assist with special projects as necessary.
