Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join its Global Payroll team in the Boston area. You will manage efficient processing and administration of payroll data, ensure accurate compensation, and maintain records across bi-weekly cycles while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include audits, journal entries, year-end support, and collaboration with internal partners and external vendors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Proficiency in Workday Payroll - Full Cycle.
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance (or equivalent tax service).
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Canadian & LATAM payroll is a plus.
• Journal Entry preparation and review.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or review bi-weekly payroll data entry.
• Maintain audit reviews (LOA, New Hires, Terminations, Company Changes & more).
• Payroll Settlement reconciliation.
• 401k bi-weekly submission and reconciliation.
• Provide payroll related information to internal partners and external auditors upon request.
• Assist in year-end process.
• Assist in researching payroll tax notices.
• Basic Payroll knowledge with Equity (vests, dividends etc.).
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of payroll procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Research and respond to employee inquiries that are tax related.
• Review new garnishments and levies to ensure compliance.
• Participate in payroll projects like implementations for vendor changes, workflow review etc.
