Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 10 years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR at least 10 years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management.
• At least 5 years of experience consulting with and presenting to senior executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with first and second line functions to analyze the existing risk management program framework and applicability to the network and merchant services business.
• Utilize subject matter expertise to provide advice and challenge on risks impacting the network and merchant businesses.
• Advise business leaders on regulatory requirements, policies, and industry standards.
• Develop expert understanding of end-to-end network and merchant business processes worldwide.
• Identify trends in business data and assess network payments risks, including emerging risks.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in the broader payments industry and global laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance requirements are applied to business expansions and new products.
• Develop relationships across Compliance, Legal, and Audit.
• Coach and develop team members and lead the Risk Advisory Team.
• Participate in reporting to senior leadership in the business and Risk Management.
