Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Global Payments Support Specialist II to monitor and process high-risk payment activity, including international USD wires and compliance with NACHA/FFIEC guidelines.

In this role you will coordinate with internal teams, analyze risks, and ensure timely and accurate processing within SWIFT and other payment networks, while maintaining strict controls and supporting system automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• High risk area requires annual background and credit check.
• Two to three years of banking experience, preferably in Global Payments.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process international and domestic inbound/outbound payments via internal networks.
• Monitor fraud and AML activity, escalate per procedures.
• Route USD payments to third-party international clearing banks.
• Execute foreign exchange transactions and related checks.
• Perform risk analytics using multiple internal applications.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations (E.g., NACHA, FFIEC).
• Collaborate with sales/support teams and external customers.
• Utilize servicing systems (Mobius, PEP+, MTS, CRM, SPOT, ACE, SWIFT, EDI, FTD).
• Support planning, testing and implementation of new applications.
• Adhere to department procedures and bank policies.
