Brex is seeking a Manager, Banking Operations in San Francisco to lead a high-velocity team focused on money movement across multiple rails. You will coach analysts, elevate monitoring standards, and build scalable processes that scale with Brex’s platform.

The role emphasizes risk-informed decisions, strong documentation, and collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering. You'll shape onboarding, control improvements, and AI adoption to enhance throughput while maintaining

Formación

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn operational complexity into concise guidance
• 2+ years of people management, coaching, and building accountable teams
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Treasury, Finance or external banking partners
• Fluency with AI tools and a strong point of view on where AI can improve team effectiveness
• Ability to develop scalable workflows, onboarding, escalation management, and coverage planning
• Strong judgment for risk assessment and escalation decisions
• Series 7 and 63, Series 24, Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Professional (APRP)
• Experience in multi-rail money movement operations (wires, ACH, checks, SWIFT, stablecoins) and AML/sanctions awareness
• Comfort using data, dashboards, SQL, Excel, or AI copilots to improve decision-making
• Experience leading through audits, regulatory exams, or high-severity escalations

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of Banking Operations analysts by setting priorities and coaching performance
• Oversee payment monitoring across Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH, checks, and stablecoins
• Ensure alerts, exceptions, and escalations are reviewed on time with clear, risk-based decisions
• Build scalable operating frameworks for onboarding, quality assurance, escalation management, and coverage planning
• Advance AI-native goals by identifying use cases and adopting AI tools across the team
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and external banking partners to strengthen controls
• Translate frontline insights into reporting and actionable leadership updates
