Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Sr. Director of Payment Innovation & External Affairs to design the future of LillyDirect Payment Operations. You’ll own the roadmap, drive cost efficiencies, and oversee vendor contracts including Adyen as LillyDirect expands globally.

This leadership role reports to the AVP of Business Operations for LUSA Consumer Services and guides cross-functional teams. Location preference includes Indianapolis or San Francisco, with remote options and travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in direct-to-consumer payments operations, customer solutions delivery, or customer solutions transformation
• Experience with vendor and contract negotiation and management
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship provided by Lilly

Responsibilities

• Build the roadmap for future payment services and capabilities (e.g., ACH, PayPal, BNPL, second PSP, international expansion)
• Drive innovation initiatives to improve authorization rates, lower processing costs, and expand payment method coverage
• Serve as the primary payments point of contact for international affiliates as LillyDirect expands globally
• Own B2B vendor strategy and contracts (Adyen and future PSPs) — negotiation, renewal, performance management
