You will define architecture enabling secure, reliable transactions across Apple’s ecosystem and collaborate across disciplines to shape world-class financial systems at Apple scale.

You will mentor teams, drive architectural decisions, align with product and regulatory leaders, and advocate for scalable, compliant services across WPC and beyond.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in payments systems and tokenization/processing.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems for high-volume transactions.
• Cloud-native architectures with scalability and resilience.
• Leadership across large organizations and cross-functional groups.
• Experience with regulated environments and compliance considerations.
• Strong communication to executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term technical direction for Apple’s global payment processing platform.
• Serve as focal point for technical dialogue across WPC and Apple engineering.
• Partner with engineering, product, business, and regulatory leaders to ensure compliant financial services tech.
• Mentor and elevate technical talent across teams in payments architecture.
• Drive architectural decisions balancing innovation, scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Develop, socialize, and promote the financial services engineering roadmap.
