Sanofi is seeking a Patient Privacy Officer and Counsel to lead privacy governance across R&D activities. You will promote a culture of privacy, drive privacy-by-design, and partner with Legal, R&D and Government Affairs to safeguard patient rights while enabling innovative science.

Qualifications
- JD or equivalent law degree with a US license to practice law.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including data privacy.
- Strong knowledge of US state and federal privacy laws and regulations (HIPAA, CCPA).
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPM preferred.
- Experience applying privacy principles in R&D and regulated settings.
Responsibilities
- Act as global officer and privacy expert for data privacy governance.
- Drive privacy-by-design and oversee risk management in R&D areas.
- Monitor privacy risks and ensure regulatory compliance across sites.
- Collaborate with Legal, R&D and Government Affairs on position papers.
- Oversee patient rights requests and respond to regulatory inspections.
