Job summary

Nova Biomedical seeks a Privacy Counsel to oversee privacy, data protection, and data management across the company and its subsidiaries. You will develop and mature global privacy policies, advise on data‑protection risks, and lead privacy training in collaboration with IT, Legal, and Governance teams.

The role requires substantial experience in privacy law, risk assessment, and cross‑functional leadership, with a focus on US and international data privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• JD required and active U.S. state bar.
• Minimum eight years of relevant privacy experience.
• Experience drafting privacy notices and Data Processing Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide privacy, data‑protection, and information‑security guidance.
• Lead privacy impact assessments and risk mitigation.
• Oversee breach response and data‑breach processes.
• Develop and deliver privacy training programs.
• Collaborate with IT, security, governance, and business teams.
