Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to provide essential passenger services including reservations, ticketing, baggage processing, terminal check-in, jet way operation, and VIP assistance. You’ll handle customer requests, assist with special needs, and ensure compliance with security requirements while delivering a high level of service.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $21.50/hour, with full-time benefits such as health and wellness coverage, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Passionate about customer service and relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in country specific language.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Self motivated and able to work independently.
• Attentive to detail and numerate.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required.
• Must be able to type and learn airline specific computer reservation/ ticketing software.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations.
• Manage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation if applicable.
• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in processes including support for special needs.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine as required.
• Make public address announcements as required.
• Assist Ramp Service Agents to load and deliver items for passengers.
• Comply with security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies.
• Operate jet way, reservation/ticketing software, and related equipment.
• Produce all required work-related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
