Supermicro is seeking a Service Logistics Specialist to support the Global Service network by managing parts inventory globally. You will ensure correct parts are stocked, manage inventory, and monitor defective returns to Supermicro.

You’ll use Excel, SQL, and scripting to analyze data and improve processes. You will coordinate travel, align schedules across teams, and serve as a liaison with accounting for inventory-related inquiries.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or Logistics or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation).
• Experience working with or alongside software engineers to streamline workflows using SQL, scripts, or other programming languages
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems and files.
• Perform data comparison, reconciliation, and validation across different datasets.
• Identify discrepancies and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Generate reports and provide insights on inventory trends and issues.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to map, compare, and analyze large datasets; collaborate with engineers to streamline workflows using SQL/scripts.
• Coordinate travel schedules and logistics with managers, field engineers, site leads, and customers.
• Act as main contact for accounting clarifications and facilitate cross-functional communication between operations, engineering, and finance.
• Maintain comprehensive records of communications and updates related to inventory activities.
