Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a Director of Global Partnerships & Initiatives to lead international engagement, manage partnerships, and align collaboration with institutional priorities.

Reporting to the Senior International Officer, the director will oversee agreements, mobility and student enrollment initiatives, event planning, and external stakeholder relations to advance UNL’s global profile and enrollment growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and two years working in a University setting.
• One year living and working or studying abroad.
• Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and databases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to carefully read and analyze written documents.
• Ability to carefully construct written documents.
• Work independently.
• Able to prioritize tasks and coordinate events.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and expansion of international partnerships.
• Support enrollment growth through partnership pathways.
• Oversee project management and event coordination for international activities.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders and alumni.
• Manage international delegations and agreements and annual reporting.
• Advise on strategic priorities and align partnerships with university goals.
