Qualifications

• Master’s in international education or related field plus 5 years in international student and scholar services with non-immigrant visa processing experience.
• Three years’ experience leading effective teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices supporting international students and scholars in a university setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and collaborative leadership abilities.
• Experience developing immigration policies and procedures and knowledge of employment issues affecting international students and scholars.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, oversight, and leadership to ISSO and its programs.
• Serve as PDSO and RO, overseeing SEVIS-based activities and compliance.
• Train and support DSOs and AROs on campus.
• Oversee ISSO operations, budgets, and personnel.
