Job description

University of Nebraska - Omaha is hiring a Coordinator, Engagement & Partnerships. The coordinator supports partnership development, programming, and events across the university's Office of Engagement and is a point of contact for community partners. The role connects partner needs with the office's programs and with university faculty, staff, and students.

Highlights

• Serve as a point of contact for community partners and support the Associate Director in managing relationships with partners housed in the Weitz Community Engagement Center.
• Help identify partner needs and opportunities and introduce partners to the right programs and university resources.
• Assist colleagues with partner relationships in volunteer and civic engagement, the Service-Learning Academy, and P-12 and pipeline programs.
• Coordinate programming, partner activities, and events, from planning and scheduling to communications and logistics.
• Keep projects that span several teams on track by coordinating timelines, meetings, and follow-through.
• Maintain accurate records of partnerships, commitments, needs, and opportunities so follow-up stays consistent across the office.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least one year in community engagement, partnership, program, or event coordination, nonprofit work, or higher education are required.
• Pay is $50,000 to $55,000 a year, with partial remote work available.
