Job summary

Joby Aviation seeks an experienced aviation maintenance leader to serve as the Accountable Manager for its Part 145 repair station in Marina, California. You will be the person responsible for all Part 145 operations and will shape the global repair strategy while owning P&L accountability for the repair network.

As a senior leader, you will define the initial repair capabilities, ensure regulatory approvals, and align maintenance with Joby’s advancing fleet and testing programs.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
• 10+ years in aviation maintenance, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of Part 145 regulations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Accountable Manager for Joby's Part 145 repair station under 14 CFR 145.151(a) and 14 CFR 145.3(a).
• Establish global Part 145 strategy and senior leadership oversight.
• Build and scale the repair station's capabilities, facilities, tooling, and personnel.
• Maintain regulatory approvals, quality controls, and continuous improvement.
