Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Sourcing Manager II to drive global indirect sourcing strategies for the packaging category. You will partner with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize value, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective contracts across business units.

The role requires a four-year degree, 5–7 years of related procurement experience, and strong negotiation and contract management skills. Travel may be required as part of global supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
• Experience supporting operational procurement in manufacturing, logistics, packaging, or pharmaceutical.
• Exceptional contract management and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute global indirect sourcing strategies for the packaging category.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize indirect spend.
• Identify and select suppliers via competitive bidding and value analysis.
• Represent Cencora with suppliers and advocate its interests.
• Re-evaluate contracts to ensure best price and service.
• Build supplier partnerships and resolve issues across functions.
• Advise other departments on procurement strategies.
• Manage senior-level supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Legal, Operations to safeguard interests.
• Use indirect sourcing tools to procure cost-effectively.
• Travel for business needs.
• Perform related duties.
