Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 7+ years in technical procurement or sourcing, with 4+ years in manufacturing supply chains.
• Strong knowledge of engineering/manufacturing processes and materials (metals, plastics, electronics).
• Experience in global sourcing and supplier management, especially in North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, components, equipment, and manufacturing services.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers across North America focusing on cost, quality, capacity, and sustainability.
• Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements for favorable terms and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure supplier capabilities meet requirements.
• Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to inform sourcing decisions.
• Drive cost optimization through value engineering and cost-reduction projects.
• Manage supplier risk including dual sourcing and contingency planning.
