Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Sourcing Manager II to lead global indirect category strategies for packaging. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with internal units and external vendors to optimize value and cost across the organization.

You will develop and execute sourcing plans, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure contract compliance while supporting risk management and Finance. Travel is required for business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 5–7 years of directly related, progressively responsible experience.
• Experience supporting operational procurement in manufacturing, logistics, packaging, or pharmaceutical.
• Exceptional contract management and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute global indirect sourcing strategies for the packaging category.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize indirect spend.
• Identify suppliers via bidding, value analysis, and total cost of ownership.
• Represent Cencora with suppliers and advocate for company interests.
• Re-evaluate contracts to ensure best price, products, and services.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships and resolve issues across teams.
• Provide advisory services on procurement strategies for indirect goods.
