Job summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced Global Packaging Engineer - Lithography to lead packaging engineering initiatives across our global manufacturing network and serve as the Packaging Engineering lead for our Marlborough site.

This role develops, qualifies, implements, and improves packaging systems that support product quality, safety, regulatory compliance, supply continuity, and operational excellence across our Lithography and ACP businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of packaging engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing and implementing industrial packaging systems.
• Knowledge of chemical compatibility, hazardous materials packaging, and packaging validation.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with suppliers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Global Packaging Engineering SME supporting Marlborough, Japan, Korea and future locations.
• Develop and maintain packaging standards, specs and best practices across sites.
• Lead design, qualification, implementation and improvement of packaging systems (bottles, drums, pallets, etc.).
• Support new product introductions, manufacturing transfers, packaging changes and capacity expansion.
• Provide packaging engineering support for manufacturing operations and CI initiatives.
• Ensure packaging systems meet product protection, chemical compatibility and safety requirements.
• Lead transportation packaging compliance including hazmat and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Regulatory and manufacturing teams.
• Qualify packaging suppliers, audits, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
