Job summary

Festo Corporation in Mason, Ohio seeks a Head of Operational Excellence to establish and further develop a value-stream based organization, applying lean principles within the local production system.

You will lead the local OPEX organization, drive cost and cash savings, implement an integrated KPI framework, and standardize the Festo production system at plant level. You will collaborate with HR on training, career paths and cultural change as a member of the plant management team.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (BS) with a focus on management & production engineering.
• Strong OPEX / Lean knowledge on an international level.
• Managerial experience.
• Intercultural knowledge/competence.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• OPEX experience at plant level with verified cost & cash savings.

Responsibilities

• Enable cost and cash savings at plant level.
• Develop local OPEX KPI system and monitor it.
• Standardize the Festo value production system locally.
• Lead the plant management team and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Drive cultural changes toward a learning organization.
