Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a SpaceX Business Operations Manager (Starlink Aviation) to lead global S&OP, translate data into strategic actions, and drive hardware adoption. You will work across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to optimize supply and demand, improving cash flow and customer outcomes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SQL/Python, and the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment. Expect high ownership and opportunity to shape Starlink Aviation’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, physics, or business.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product management, operations, FP&A, consulting, banking, or entrepreneurship.
• 2+ years of experience in Excel or programming.
• Evidence of exceptional ability, especially in ambiguous environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; ability to handle large datasets independently.
• Excellent analytical modeling skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own global S&OP for Starlink Aviation to convert hardware into active, paying customers.
• Analyze KPIs: active subscribers, network utilization, latency, inventory turnover, unit economics; develop S&OP models and decision tools.
• Translate analysis into strategic insights and hardware mix strategy to accelerate adoption and maximize value.
• Orchestrate global supply allocation and demand forecasting with engineering.
• Drive resource planning for verticals; execute hardware ramp and sunset plans with hardware/manufacturing engineering.
• Enable and accelerate go-to-market for products post-licensing and certification.
• Identify initiatives to improve Starlink's operational trajectory with SpaceX leadership.
