Interra International LLC in Atlanta is seeking a Global Operations Specialist to manage export documentation and keep shipments moving to Central and South America.

You will file EEI through AES, review required documents, track shipments with Incoterms, and communicate in Spanish with customers, building trust and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in export operations, compliance, or international logistics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with professional reading/writing.
• Knowledge of U.S. export regulations and AES.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.
• Customer-first approach and ability to build rapport by phone.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field (preferred).
• Ability to pass reference/background check.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and file EEI via AES in line with U.S. regulations.
• Assess shipment documents by country and commodity.
• Track shipments and apply Incoterms while capturing costs.
• Maintain Spanish-speaking communication with customers by phone and email.
• Resolve documentation issues and coordinate with Sales to inform customers.

About this position

Interra International is a global leader in the trade supply and distribution of food commodities and ingredients. We also distribute consumer packaged goods to retail and food service industries.

We’re looking for a bilingual Global Operations Specialist to keep our shipments to Central and South America moving and compliant. You’ll file electronic export information and manage export documentation, submit shipping instructions to ocean carriers, and be the person our Spanish-speaking customers trust to keep them informed.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and file EEI through AES in line with U.S. export regulations
• Review each shipment and determine the documents it needs by country and commodity
• Track shipments to the customer, applying Incoterms and capturing all costs
• Build relationships with customers by phone and in writing, in Spanish
• Resolve documentation and delivery issues, and work with Sales to keep customers informed

What you bring

• At least 1 year in export operations, export compliance, freight forwarding, or international logistics
• Fluent English and Spanish, including professional reading and writing in Spanish
• Working knowledge of U.S. export compliance and AES regulations
• Sharp attention to detail and a compliance mindset
• A customer-first approach and the ability to build rapport over the phone
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred: transportation, international business, or supply chain)
• Ability to pass a reference and background check
