Job summary

AbbVie seeks outstanding early-career engineers and scientists for its Operations Development Program (ODP), a global, full-time, three-year leadership track with three 12-month rotations across Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development, or Supply Chain.

Participants gain hands-on project experience, develop functional and leadership capabilities, and travel among AbbVie locations based on business needs, with mobility a key program component.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in university and finishing final year in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (permanent start date).
• Completion of bachelor’s degree prior to full-time start date.
• Minimum one internship or co-op completed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in three 12-month rotations across AbbVie Operations.
• Gain exposure to Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development, Science & Technology, and Supply Chain.
• Travel among AbbVie locations as rotations require and relocate based on business needs.

OperationsDevelopment Program:

AbbVie's Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global,full-time, three-year rotational leadership developmentprogram for early-career engineers and scientists. Through three diverse and challenging 12-month rotations, ODP members gainbroad exposure to AbbVie Operations,build functional and leadership capabilities, contribute tohands-onprojects, and prepare for future operations leadership opportunities at AbbVie.

Assignment rotationsmay include opportunities inthe followingareas:

• Manufacturing, Engineering, andContractManufacturing

• Quality

• Product Development, Science & Technology

• Supply Chain

Locations:

Programmemberswill be placed in one of the following U.S. locations for their first rotation.

• Branchburg, New Jersey

• Irvine, California

• Lake County,Illinois

• Waco, Texas

• Worcester, Massachusetts

Mobility is a keycomponentof this program.Programmemberswill work inat leasttwo AbbVie locationsduringthe programandwill be assigned their first location and rotation based on business needs. Depending on the assignment,program members may alsohave the opportunity totravel as part of their rotationalexperience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mustbe currentlyenrolled in university and completing final year of studies in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Completion ofbachelor’sdegree prior to the intended full-time start date.

• Minimum of one internship or co-op completed.

• Mustdemonstrateleadership skillsthroughextracurricular activities,projects, work experience, or other relevant experiences.

• Mobility is a key requirement.Programmembers must completeat least one assignmentat aU.S. Operationsplantand rotate to different sites based on businessneeds.

• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to change, bring forward innovative ideas, take initiative, and act with integrity.
