Job summary

AbbVie’s Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global, full-time, three-year rotational leadership development program for early-career engineers and scientists. It provides three 12-month rotations across manufacturing, engineering, quality, product development, and supply chain.

Participants gain broad exposure to AbbVie Operations, build functional and leadership capabilities, and travel across U.S. locations with mobility to rotate between sites based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in university and completing final year in chemistry or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree before start date.
• At least one internship or co-op completed.
• Mobility required to rotate between U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a three-year rotational leadership program across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Product Development, and Supply Chain.
• Complete at least two AbbVie locations during the program and contribute to hands-on projects.
• Demonstrate leadership and cross-functional collaboration during rotations.

AbbVie's Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global,full-time, three-year rotational leadership developmentprogram for early-career engineers and scientists. Through three diverse and challenging 12-month rotations, ODP members gainbroad exposure to AbbVie Operations,build functional and leadership capabilities, contribute tohands-onprojects, and prepare for future operations leadership opportunities at AbbVie.

Assignment rotationsmay include opportunities inthe followingareas:

Manufacturing, Engineering, andContractManufacturing

Quality

Product Development, Science & Technology

Supply Chain

Locations:

Programmemberswill be placed in one of the following U.S. locations for their first rotation.

Branchburg, New Jersey

Irvine, California

Lake County,Illinois

Waco, Texas

Worcester, Massachusetts

Mobility is a keycomponentof this program.Programmemberswill work inat leasttwo AbbVie locationsduringthe programandwill be assigned their first location and rotation based on business needs. Depending on the assignment,program members may alsohave the opportunity totravel as part of their rotationalexperience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Mustbe currentlyenrolled in university and completing final year of studies in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Completion ofbachelor’sdegree prior to the intended full-time start date.

Minimum of one internship or co-op completed.

Mustdemonstrateleadership skillsthroughextracurricular activities,projects, work experience, or other relevant experiences.

Mobility is a key requirement.Programmembers must completeat least one assignmentat aU.S. Operationsplantand rotate to different sites based on businessneeds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to change, bring forward innovative ideas, take initiative, and act with integrity.
