Job summary

AbbVie Inc. invites applicants for its Technical Development Program, a three-year rotational path within Operations. The first year places you as a Biologics Manufacturing Technician on the production floor, with subsequent years in other Operations functions.

You will advance under structured training in quality, environment, health & safety, and engineering practices, with exposure to project work, cost and time targets, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience with demonstrated competence.
• Entry level position, typical for those with <2 years of experience.
• Ability to quickly gain knowledge of AbbVie processes and policies.
• Collaborates with diverse groups across engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with other engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recognize risks and balance gains.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Quality, EH&S, and AbbVie standards.
• Define project scope with stakeholders and plan tasks to meet targets.
• Coordinate qualification activities and support validation efforts.
• Assist in training personnel for facility operations.
• Share evolving technical knowledge with the team and adapt to changes.
• Develop design solutions and propose improvements where applicable.
