Job summary

SpaceX's Starlink Growth team seeks a Global Operations Engineer to drive process improvements across operations, logistics, and customer experience. You will identify issues, build scalable solutions, and partner with design, engineering, and sales to roll out new processes that support growth and profitability.

The role emphasizes data analysis, project management, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver practical improvements on aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or STEM field.
• 2+ years of experience in an operations, process improvement, manufacturing, and/or consulting environment.
• 2+ years of experience with Excel, SQL, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Apply process improvement methodologies to improve self-service, accelerate resolution, and scale processes across teams.
• Identify engineering and operational issues, determine root causes, and develop solutions for mitigation and improvement.
• Develop and maintain data analysis tools to monitor customer experience and internal performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to create effective feedback loops.
• Support project prioritization, resource allocation, and sustainability of solutions.
• Manage projects and execute to aggressive timelines while communicating progress.
• Collaborate on new product, feature, and process rollouts and create educational materials.
• Codify knowledge and best practices for customer-facing and internal systems.
• Demonstrate ownership and bias for action with scalable solutions.
