Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer in Irving, TX to lead cross-functional projects for next-generation sortation and distribution solutions. You will manage the lifecycle of complex programs, partner with internal/external teams, and ensure timely handovers while traveling extensively to U.S.

facilities. You will oversee schedules, risk mitigation, and deliverables, collaborating with vendors and internal partners to optimize facility processes and safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Industrial Engineering or STEM field.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging techs and storage solutions.
• Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA and SQL.
• 3+ years in industrial/operations/ manufacturing engineering or project engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of cross-functional projects and deliver objectives.
• Set priorities, milestones, and drive schedules with stakeholders.
• Coordinate execution of system and equipment designs to standards.
• Communicate project status and risk mitigation plans clearly.
• Lead meetings and document decisions and next steps.
