Job description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Operational Resilience to join our Global Operations Group which is part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the adoption of operational resilience standards, controls, methodologies, and evidence expectations across Global Functions, Member Firms, and third-party delivery teams, including annual conformance activity, status reporting, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate business resilience exercises (for example, table-tops), including scenario development, participant coordination, lessons learned, and improvement reporting
• Maintain and improve operational resilience, incident management, and crisis management frameworks, including plans, protocols, processes, playbooks, procedures, templates, and supporting guidance
• Support operational resilience risk horizon scanning by consolidating inputs, assessing and prioritizing disruption risks, developing scenario analysis, updating response strategies, and preparing reports for KPMGI stakeholders
• Coordinate the Global Business Resilience Community through agenda planning, presenter coordination, session materials, recap communications, SharePoint updates, and knowledge sharing across Member Firms and KPMGI teams
• Provide operational support during incidents and crises, including meeting coordination, action tracking, documentation, and escalation support aligned with KPMGI’s crisis management framework
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent experience in operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management, risk management, technology resilience, third-party resilience, or related discipline
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or five years equivalent work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, to support collaboration, coordination, information management, and reporting along with experience with Power BI dashboards and the responsible use of AI-enabled tools for analysis, process improvement, scenario development, or resilience planning is preferred
• Understanding of critical business services, impact tolerances, business continuity, IT disaster recovery, crisis management, third-party resilience, incident management, exercise design, and lessons learned processes along with familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks, such as ISO 22301, ISO 22398, NIST-aligned practices, or DORA, is preferred
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs, maintaining standards or framework documentation, tracking issues and actions, engaging internal and third-party delivery teams, and overseeing delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes against agreed expectations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience building trusted relationships, working effectively with global teams, managing competing priorities, and influencing outcomes through clear communication, consistent follow-up, and practical problem-solving across functions, geographies, and levels of seniority
