Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors seeks an experienced professional to develop and implement a Disaster Recovery Policy and Procedure for the company's US operations, safeguarding people, processes, and technology. The policy must reflect the scope of DR services and regulatory obligations.

The role includes planning and scheduling project milestones, tracking progress, delivering reports and presentations, and continually managing expectations with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial services, with focus on operational resilience, BC/DR.
• Working knowledge of US financial services regulatory requirements for OP Resilience, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
• Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Effective project management and proven delivery experience.
• Detail oriented, independent working style with strong organizational skills.
• Experience writing policy and procedure documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interact with staff across the organization.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Disaster Recover Policy and Procedure to document and communicate a minimum set of disaster recovery requirements for effectively safeguarding The company's US Operations people, processes, and technology.
• The documents should reflect the scope of disaster recovery services and capabilities undertaken in the firm and in accordance with regulatory obligations.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience, with several years of experience in the financial services industry preferably in an Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Planning and / or Disaster Recovery capacity.
• Working knowledge of US financial services regulatory requirements associated with Operation Resilience, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
• Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Effective project management skills and proven experience leading and delivering projects.
• Must be detail oriented, ability to work independently, and have strong organizational skills.
• Experience writing policy and procedure documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to interact and work efficiently and effectively with all staff across the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
