Job summary

Delta ModTech is seeking a Service, Training and Process Specialist to support customer operations with equipment operation, inspection, and on-site training. The role includes travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, with responsibilities spanning machine setup, maintenance, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with strong competence in machine operation, inspection, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site equipment inspections to verify performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship for customer operators and staff on web converting and coating equipment.
• Operate and oversee machine setup, testing, and preventative maintenance during customer visits.
• Support prototyping activities and process development for new products.
• Participate in design reviews to provide operational feedback for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot process issues at customer sites and in-house.
• Document training activities and process improvements for customers and internal teams.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
