Job summary

Delta ModTech is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Manager to lead project management and technician teams through complex custom machinery from order receipt to FAT. You will ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality while driving continuous improvement and cross‑functional coordination.

The role bridges engineering, production, supply chain and service to deliver low‑volume, highly customized systems. A strong leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in custom machinery design/build or automation.
• 5+ years in project management, incl. 1–3 years supervisory.
• 5+ years of leadership in technical project teams.
• P&L responsibilities and strategic decision making.
• Experience managing complex, low-volume, engineer-to-order projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Managers and Technicians across multiple projects.
• Ensure safety, on time, on budget project execution.
• Oversee machine assembly, FAT, and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service.
• Forecast labor and manage resources across projects.
• Monitor KPIs: margin, materials, labor, changes.
