Job summary

Gosiger Machine Tool Llc in Dayton, OH, is seeking a hands-on Applications Technician/Engineer to lead turnkey machine setup, programming and run-off activities. The role requires travel to customer sites and a strong background in CNC programming, G and M code, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

Two-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Experience with machine tool programming, program modification and setup; G & M code from scratch; GD&T; reading blueprints.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive; passport for international travel.
Strong business writing and documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal communication; self-starter; organization and planning; project management.

Responsibilities

Perform turnkey machine setup, programming and run-offs.
Develop machine programming processes to manufacture parts.
Provide on-site and in-house training on machine operations and troubleshooting.
Travel to customer sites up to 30–35% (including out-of-state).
Attend sales/service/company/customer meetings as requested.
Maintain records and documentation for machine and programming processes.
Support projects and ensure timely follow-up and completion.
Follow safety procedures and maintain high quality standards.
