Qualifications

• MD or equivalent advanced degree in oncology/hematology.
• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with a focus on oncology/hematology.
• Proven leadership in medical affairs, including managing direct and indirect reports and cross-functional teams.
• Strong scientific knowledge of solid tumor biology, trial design, and biomarker development.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead global pipeline medical, value and evidence strategy development across disease areas for US and International markets (24–36 months pre-launch).
• Drive differentiation of medical, value and evidence strategy from discovery using market insights.
• Coordinate across TAs to align pipeline strategies into a cohesive AbbVie plan.
• Incorporate HCP, patient and payor insights into development programs to accelerate strategies.
• Co-create brand strategy and ensure market insights are embedded in plans.
