Job summary

Dow is hiring a Sourcing Manager in Ocean Transportation to join the Integrated Supply Chain and Procurement organization. The role can be located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, coordinating international trade logistics and optimizing Dow's cost position.

You will negotiate with service providers, define sourcing opportunities, and develop strategies. The role requires deep knowledge of logistics and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and partner with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above U.S. E5 level, or 10+ years in Logistics Purchasing/SC as alternative.
• Minimum 5 years in Logistics Purchasing or Supply Chain; ocean industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and support cross-regional activities.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage a portfolio of international trade logistics services to improve cost position and supply security.
• Contribute to global logistics buying strategy for international trade logistics and North America implementation.
• Use analytics to drive value, influence stakeholders, and coach team members.
• Lead projects or project steps within broader programs and manage ongoing activities.
