Job summary

Intuitive Surgical in Sunnyvale is seeking a Manager for New Products Supply Chain to lead the end-to-end supply chain for new product introductions within a regulated medical devices environment.

You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to ensure rapid, compliant, and cost-effective launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
• 1–2 years leading a small team.
• Experience supporting product launches in regulated industries.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Proven data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the New Products Supply Chain team.
• Design supply chain strategies for new product introductions.
• Coordinate with Product Development, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for new products.
• Manage supplier selection, inventory planning, and logistics risk.
• Drive continuous improvement for speed, cost, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate timelines and risks to leadership.
• Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers.
• Prepare reports and analyses on supply chain performance.
