Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electromechanical or Mechanical).
• 12+ years of Process Engineering, Process Qualification, or NPI in electronics/connector manufacturing.
• At least 5 years in a Manager role.
• Strong leadership and communication; data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities for the NPI teams globally.
• Participate in Design Reviews and provide feedback to Design Engineers on components and assembly (DFM).
• Collect process data and analyze to optimize the assembly process for the ME team.
• Support and coordinate process qualification & customer samples through NPI personnel.
• Responsible for Transfer to Production once development documents and qualifications are completed.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues and customer complaints.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical problems impacting manufacturing, supply chain, or product performance.
• Document process specifications, work instructions, and engineering change notices.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to enhance yield and reduce cost.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive improvements.
• Mentor and lead a team; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Track progress, risks, and outcomes; support audits and regulatory documentation.
• Travel to support vendor visits, troubleshooting, and inter-site collaboration.
