Job summary

STAND 8 is seeking a Global Network Operations NOC Lead to oversee network configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and service restoration across a multi‑platform environment, reporting to the NOC Supervisor. Hybrid work: 3 days in office / 2 remote, with locations in Melville, NY; Rochester, NY; or Doral, FL.

You will analyze events, coordinate corrective actions, maintain documentation, and provide clear status updates to internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of three years telecommunications experience.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration, maintenance, and performance of the network across multiple platforms.
• Investigate and analyze network impairments to determine root cause.
• Plan and execute corrective actions to meet SLA guidelines.
• Provide technical feedback and support to the Network Operations Center.
• Coordinate actions with internal departments and external vendors.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and performance metrics.
