Job summary

LHH is hiring a Network Systems Engineer II to join a collaborative, global ICT team supporting enterprise and data center networks. This is a hands-on role that mentors others and fosters cross-team collaboration.

You will lead by example, mentor two junior engineers, supervise network and security operations, and drive design, troubleshooting, and upgrades across global sites. The role includes a 3-month contract with intent to convert to permanent, with salary range $100K–$110K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals and system design understanding
• Experience in Cisco-based enterprise environments
• Hands-on knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN
• DNS, subnetting, routing and switching
• Exposure to firewalls and network security (ASA, Fortinet)
• Excellent communication skills
• Coachable, collaborative, and proactive
• Mentoring others and cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree not required (CCNA/cisco training a plus)

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and mentor junior engineers (2 direct reports)
• Supervise network and security operations
• Share knowledge and support team growth
• Design, support, and troubleshoot enterprise and global networks
• Provide 2nd & 3rd-level support and root cause analysis
• Partner with global teams (EU stakeholders)
• Participate in and lead network projects and upgrades
• Maintain strong documentation and operational standards
