Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Global Service Desk Network Administrator III to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This on-site role requires the ability to support LANs/WANs, analyze systems, monitor network performance, and resolve complex issues across government networks.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or 9 years of IT experience) and a current Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 9 years information technology experience can substitute.
9+ years information technology experience.
Master of Science in Information Technology or related field preferred.
Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.
Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.

Responsibilities

Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades.
Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools.
Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software.
Requires advanced specialized expertise within an analytical or technical area to perform the most complex work.
Requires tact and diplomacy to communicate ideas clearly.
