Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Global Service Desk Network Administrator III to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This on-site role requires the ability to support LANs/WANs, analyze systems, monitor network performance, and resolve complex issues across government networks.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or 9 years of IT experience) and a current Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 9 years information technology experience can substitute.
• 9+ years information technology experience.
• Master of Science in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.
• Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Global Service Desk Network Administrator III to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades

• Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations

• Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission

• Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software Requires comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, and systems within own and related areas

• Requires developed advanced specialized expertise within an analytical or technical area to perform the most complex work

• Requires tact and diplomacy to communicate ideas in a concise and logical way.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)

• Nine (9) Years of information technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field.

• Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.

• Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Physical Requirements

• 10% travel anticipated.

• Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions.

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.
