Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Border Security Analyst to support global network security operations, including Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and Zscaler services. You will implement policy changes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with security and network teams to maintain secure connectivity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with no experience, plus hands-on firewall and VPN expertise and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 0 years experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and Zscaler.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, DNS, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL/change-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support of global network security infrastructure including Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZCC, and VPN technologies.
• Implement firewall and network security policy changes per established procedures.
• Troubleshoot firewall policies, connectivity issues, and VPN problems using logs and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain documentation and participate in after-hours support as required.
